Refund & Reprint Policy
Effective July 19, 2026
Every order at CO Print Press is custom-printed to your specifications. Because we don't carry inventory of finished goods — every job is unique — our refund policy works differently from a typical retail store. This page explains exactly when reprints are available, when refunds are issued, and what isn't covered.
Instead, we'll reprint your order at no cost when something legitimately goes wrong on our end. Read on for specifics.
1. When we'll reprint at no cost
If any of the following happens, we'll reprint your order at our expense:
- We made the mistake: wrong file, wrong quantity, wrong size, wrong substrate, or wrong specifications from what you ordered
- Manufacturing defect: mis-cut, registration issues, ink coverage problems, smearing, or other production errors that fall outside industry tolerance
- Severe shipping damage: packaging or product crushed, soaked, or destroyed in transit (photos and reporting within 7 days of delivery required)
- Wrong item shipped: we sent you someone else's order or the wrong product
2. Full refunds — only one scenario
We issue a full refund only if your order was never produced. Examples:
- You cancel before we've started production
- We can't fulfill your order due to stock issues, equipment problems, or our error in accepting it
- A pricing error causes us to cancel before producing
Once production has begun, refunds are not available. If there's an issue with what we produced, we reprint — we don't refund.
3. What we don't cover
The following are NOT eligible for refund or reprint:
Issues in files you supplied
- Typos, misspellings, or grammatical errors in your text
- Low-resolution images that print blurry or pixelated
- Colors set incorrectly in your file (RGB vs CMYK, wrong color profile)
- Missing bleed, incorrect trim marks, or wrong document dimensions
- Files that print exactly as supplied but don't match what you intended
It's your responsibility to verify your files before submitting. We print what you send. If you need help reviewing files before production, ask for a proof — proof approval is your safety net.
Color variation
Color reproduction varies between monitors, between batches, and across substrates. Variation within industry tolerance is normal and not grounds for reprint or refund. If precise color matching is critical to your project:
- Request a hard-copy proof before production (additional charge may apply)
- Provide Pantone (PMS) color references where possible
- Calibrate your monitor and design in CMYK
- Order a small sample run before committing to a large quantity
Files you approved via proof
If we sent a proof and you approved it, you accept responsibility for everything visible in that proof. We cannot reprint or refund:
- Typos that were in the proof
- Colors visible in the proof
- Layout issues visible in the proof
- Anything else that was shown to you for review
Take time to review proofs carefully. If you're not sure, ask for clarification BEFORE approving.
Cancellation after production has started
Once we've begun printing, cutting, or otherwise consuming materials for your order, the work is done. No refund. If we haven't shipped yet, we may be able to ship what's complete for the price already paid.
Shipping carrier issues we can't control
- Carrier delays beyond their published estimates
- Lost packages confirmed picked up by the carrier but not delivered (we'll help you file a claim with the carrier)
- Address errors on your part causing failed delivery
- Refused or returned packages where you elected not to retrieve them
Used or installed items
Once you've used, installed, displayed, or otherwise put the product into service, it's no longer eligible for reprint or refund.
4. How to request a reprint
- Within 7 days of receiving your order, email sales@coprintingpress.com
- Include your order number
- Describe what went wrong with clear specifics
- Attach clear photos of the issue (multiple angles, well-lit)
- For shipping damage, include photos of the packaging too
- We'll typically respond within 2 biz days avg
- Approved reprints are produced at no cost to you and shipped via our standard methods on our normal production schedule
5. Quantity adjustments
We aim to deliver the exact quantity you ordered. Industry standard allows for a small over/under quantity (typically ±2%) on large runs. We don't refund for minor quantity differences within this range. For exact-count requirements, let us know in advance.
6. Subscriptions
Recurring subscription packages bill in advance. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Unused subscription credits may carry over depending on the package; check your subscription terms. We don't refund partial periods.
7. Promotional discounts and codes
Discount codes (such as LAUNCH20) reduce the price you pay. If you receive a reprint or partial refund, it's based on the actual amount paid, not the pre-discount price.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us first if you have an issue. Most problems can be resolved quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and could result in additional fees. We dispute chargebacks for items that meet our acceptance criteria.
9. Special exceptions
We reserve the right to issue refunds, reprints, or other accommodations on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Just because something isn't explicitly covered doesn't mean we won't try to make it right — ask us.
