Terms of Service
Effective July 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CO Print Press's website, products, and services. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
CO Print Press is a custom printing business based in Aurora, Colorado. We produce printed materials — business cards, signage, banners, stickers, apparel, and more — for individuals and businesses. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and CO Print Press.
2. Account registration
You may browse our site without an account, but placing an order requires registration. When you register:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and confidential
- You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
3. Orders, quotes, and pricing
- All prices are in US Dollars and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- We charge Colorado sales tax where applicable. Customers with verified tax-exempt status (501(c)(3), state-issued exemption certificate, government entities) are not charged sales tax — verification required
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Prices and product availability may change at any time. The price at the time of order placement is what applies
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or production limitations. If we cancel an unproduced order, you receive a full refund
- Discounts and promotional codes have terms specific to each promotion. We may end promotions early
4. Design files and content responsibility
When you submit design files for printing:
- You confirm that you own the rights to the content or have permission from the rights holder
- You're responsible for the accuracy, spelling, content, layout, and legality of files you submit
- We may decline orders containing material we deem illegal, hateful, defamatory, copyrighted (without authorization), or otherwise objectionable
- You retain ownership of your designs — we use them only to fulfill your order
- We keep your files for a reasonable period (typically 90 days) after fulfillment to support reprints and customer service, then may delete them
- You agree to indemnify CO Print Press against any claims arising from content you submit, including copyright infringement claims
5. Proof approval
Some orders include a digital proof for your review before production starts. Approval is your responsibility:
- Review the proof carefully for typos, colors, image quality, layout, and any other details
- Once you approve the proof, the order moves to production
- You accept responsibility for any errors in the approved proof — we cannot reprint or refund issues visible in the proof
- Proof approval pages have a 14-day expiration; orders may be paused if no response is received
6. Production timelines
- Production times begin when we receive print-ready files (or proof approval, if applicable)
- Standard turnaround times are 3 biz days avg from approved files unless otherwise specified
- Rush orders may be available; contact us for rush quotes
- Delays in file submission or proof approval extend the timeline
- Holiday and high-volume periods may extend turnarounds; we'll notify you
7. Shipping and delivery
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination
- We ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, plus local delivery for Denver-area customers
- Shipping times are estimates from the carrier — we don't guarantee transit times
- Risk of loss transfers to you when the package is handed to the carrier
- For severe shipping damage, we'll reprint at our cost (per our Refund Policy) but do not refund
- You're responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We're not liable for losses due to incorrect addresses
8. Color and product variation
Custom printing has inherent variation. By placing an order, you acknowledge:
- Colors on your screen may differ from printed output due to monitor calibration, lighting, and printing methods
- Color variation between batches and over time is normal and within industry tolerance
- Substrate (paper, vinyl, fabric) and finishing may affect appearance
- For color-critical work, request a hard-copy proof in advance (additional cost may apply)
9. Refunds and reprints
See our Refund Policy for detailed terms. Summary: we offer reprints (not refunds) for issues caused by our errors. Full refunds are available only for orders never produced. We don't refund for file errors, color variation, transit damage, or issues with files you approved.
10. Payment terms
- Payment is required before production begins, unless a manual payment arrangement has been approved in advance
- We accept major credit/debit cards via Stripe
- Subscription packages bill on a recurring schedule per the subscription terms
- Late or failed payments may result in order pauses, service suspension, or collection action
- You're responsible for chargebacks and fees if a chargeback is found to be unjustified
11. Subscription packages
Recurring print packages (business cards, flyers, rack cards, etc.) follow these terms:
- Subscriptions auto-renew on the billing cycle you select
- Cancel anytime from your account or by contacting us — cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law
- Skipped months can be banked according to subscription terms
- We may change subscription pricing with 30 days notice; existing subscribers keep current pricing through the end of their billing cycle
12. Prohibited use
You may not use our services to:
- Produce content that's illegal, hateful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Infringe on intellectual property rights (including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets) of others
- Distribute malware, spam, or otherwise harm our systems or other users
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary information about our pricing, processes, or customer base
- Use automated tools to scrape or place orders without authorization
- Resell our services without express written permission
13. Intellectual property
All content on our website (logos, designs, text, photos, code) — except your own designs — is the property of CO Print Press or our licensors and is protected by US and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
Our services and products are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost business, or lost data — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CO Print Press, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
